How do I place an order? We have 4 easy steps to place an order.

Can my order be altered or cancelled after it has been placed? Yes in some instances you may be able to alter or cancel part or all of your order. However, this must be in writing by email to sales@theglassescompany.co.uk as soon as possible. Note: Lenses are custom-made to the individual and once produced cannot be refunded.
Can I order frames without prescription? Yes many of our customers buy frames for fashion use only or have separate arrangements for prescription in their lenses. Simply choose your frame and select the buy frame only/fashion use option after adding to basket.
Which payment methods are accepted? We accept all major debit/credit cards including via Paypal.
Are my payments secure? We have up-to-date measures to make our payment transactions 100% secure. All personal data is handled with confidentiality and is not given to third parties.
Are your products authentic? All our products are 100% genuine. Being established for over 30 years, we have authorised contracts with the leading brand manufacturers to guarantee authentic stock each and every time.
What is my prescription? A prescription is a numerical order written by an optometrist to allow the correct powered glasses or sunglasses to be made for the individual.

What does pupillary distance (PD) mean? Please visit our pupillary distance page.
How long will it take for my items to be delivered?For glasses and sunglasses without prescription (in stock) – within 7 working days
For glasses and sunglasses with prescription (in stock) – within 14 working days
Note: For more complex prescriptions, certain lens options like varifocal, coatings and tints delivery times may be increased. Rarely, a frame advertised may be discontinued or temporarily out of stock. In that case, we will inform you, offering either a similar alternative or refunding the full amount.
Do you offer European and International delivery? Yes we deliver globally. The shipping cost will be £15.00. For more accurate delivery times for different countries, please contact our Customer Support.
